Basic Rules
The Epic List is sort of an adventure network or a dream exchange. For too many people, their greatest goals are never reached because they are never started. If you're willing to share your vision, I'm interested in joining in and helping to make it happen. No, I will not participate in anything illegal, don't ask to move into my apartment, and "I always wanted to be rich" is not the kind of vision we're talking about here. Beyond the obvious, there aren't many things that are completely off limits (I do, however, reserve the right to refuse participation).
So with those few guidelines in mind, let's get these things done! I'll video the experience and blog about it afterward.
- Matt
P.S. I've started the list with 10 of my own just to give a flavor for the range of possibilities (if anyone has any advice or help to offer, PLEASE DO!).

#0004 Making Sushi
#0007 Surfing in Hawaii

The plan is to train and take classes with Rich before making my sojourn. This picture is of me from the near-future. Anyone interested in watching me write my Obit?

This one you should be able to bang out in a weekend. I have not done it because I am not a big sushi fan but sushi is really only expensive because the ingredients are often expensive (they have to be extremely fresh) and not because it the slicing of raw fish is really a rocket science.
ReplyDeleteThe exception would probably be if you wanted to prepare certain poisonous fish species. But in that case, I am really not interested (and you probably should not be either).
Dude, I'd totally take sushi classes!
ReplyDeleteThis seems to be the most popular one listed!
ReplyDeleteYou need to add skydiving to your list! :) I'm volunteering Richard.
